As the holiday season gets close we have been adjusting some of our most popular holiday gifts to make sure they smile even brighter this year. The personalized bracelets have always been a popular holiday gift for dads, husbands and brothers. Customers can personalize their favorite and special names, dates, coordinates and symbols on a customizable palette of either silver or gold, and a selection of several suede colors. We are always striving to make our jewelry durable (especially for the men). After some great feedback we decided to swap out the eye hook with a super durable 14K gold or Sterling Silver lobster clasp that hooks on and wont EVER unhook. SWEET. We have had so much fun growing our nifty little handcrafted jewelry business over the last years and have learned so much along the way! June is here and summer (for us in the northern hemisphere) is in full swing. I’ve been taking time in the studio to create pieces that reflect the season’s beauty.
Also on tap re-working the studio and creating a functional yet funky space that inspires. Taking my shipping crate displays and some other odds and ends I was able to make a pretty cool space that inspires and helps me create for you daily.
The studio has proved to be the perfect place to teach jewelry making classes as well! Wire-wrapping and laughs = a good afternoon.

For the last year I have created over 1,000 custom pieces of jewelry using my two hands and a set of very great tools! Many nights turned into mornings, listening to bon iver and sia in my Marina del Rey studio churning away new designs and customer orders for my line Golden Plume.
Friends urged me to share the footage we occasionally shot while the mood hit us. Well I have finally pieced together a little thing I like to call the “in the studio” series where I will post a new video once a month of creation inside the studio.
This month for the first “in the studio” let’s focus on The Blue Sea Glass Necklace, inspired by the beach and sea we live near this pieces is really unique and always gets lot of attention and questions when wearing, it also happens to take hours to create. My friends and family hung with me and shot some candid video and photos of the creative process that went into spinning gold and cage wrapping locally sourced sea glass to create this beaut.
